What Is Air Source Heat Pump?
Air source heat pumps (ASHPs) extract heat from the outside air and use it to heat your home and hot water. Modern systems can operate efficiently even in temperatures as low as -20°C, making them a highly effective year-round solution for UK homes.
A well-specified heat pump can deliver 3–4 units of heat energy for every unit of electricity consumed — making them far more efficient than traditional electric heating and increasingly cost-effective compared to gas.
